A pedestrian safety group presented the findings of a study about Connecticut Avenue N.W. at an Advisory Neighborhood Commission meeting Monday.
Marlene Berlin told ANC 3F that the study, commissioned by Connecticut Avenue Pedestrian Action, found that the street has “inconsistent signage for cars, and not enough time for individuals to cross the street,” reports The Van Ness Blog.
The study focused on Connecticut Avenue from Calvert Street N.W. to Chevy Chase Circle. The full report and recommendations are on CAPA’s website.
ANC 3F covers North Cleveland Park, Van Ness and Forest Hills. [The Van Ness Blog]
